2010 MIPIM Awards

At the 2010 MIPIM Awards, the “Oscars” of the real estate industry, the andel’s hotel Łódź continued its success story. The Polish hotel was awarded for its outstanding design and transformation with a nomination in the category of “Hotels & Tourism Resorts” and a special award as “Special Tribute to the Guest of Honour” at the renowned property trade fair in Cannes.

“Adaptive Reuse”

In February 2010, the andel’s Hotel Łódź received its fourth prestigious award. For the revitalization and conversion of a historical building into an exclusive hotel, the andel’s Hotel Łódź won the category “Adaptive Reuse” at the annual “Outstanding Interior Design” competition, organised by Contract Magazine in New York.

“Concept Hotel 2009”

„Original, fantastic, masterful, world class” – these are the jury’s remarks regarding our hotel, which won the first place in the “Concept Hotel 2009” competition. The competition is held periodically and was established three years ago by Hotelarz magazine. The andel’s Hotel Łódź was unquestionably the best hotel in the competition, scoring twice as many points as other hotel projects.

“Best Hotel Development” and “Best Development Overall”

The andel’s Hotel Łódź was distinguished with the first prize in the categories “Best Hotel Development” and “Best Development Overall” by CIJ Journal, the leading real estate market magazine of Central and Eastern Europe. The awards  honour the successful adaptation of an existing, historical building to hotel use and the great design approach.

“European Hotel Design Awards”

London, November 2009

During the 12th annual ceremony of the European Hotel Design Awards 2009 in London, the team of OP Architekten and interior designers Jestico + Whiles received the “Architecture of the Year” award in the category “Conversion of an Existing Building to Hotel Use” for the andel’s Hotel Łódź project.
